Training Approach
The trainer will use a variety of training approaches including class and small group discussions, first aid critical incident scenario simulations,
workbook excercises, sustained practice of CPR and other first aid skills and relevant audiovisual materials to support learning to competency.

- Apply Emergency Action Principles,
- Provide care for Breathing Emergencies,
- Provide care for cardiac Emergencies,
- Perform Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR),
- Perform Expired Air Resuscitation (EAR),
- Provide care for bleeding,
- Provide care for shock,
- Comply with basic Documentation Requirements,
- Apply State legislation for Occupational First Aiders
